What we record on every visit

On our server: the page you open, the page you came from, campaign markers in the link (such as utm_source), your IP address, country, browser, window size, how long the tab was visible, how far you scrolled and what you clicked. Nothing of this is stored in your browser and these traffic statistics do not use a persistent visitor identifier. Interactive conversations described below have their own anonymous game identifier. The basis is our legitimate interest in knowing what gets read. The IP address is masked after 90 days. You can object by writing to us.

What we keep in your browser

Traffic statistics use no cookies or persistent identifiers. Interactive features keep the progress you choose to create: game and dialogue progress, an anonymous game identifier, a temporary queue of unsent dialogue events, voice settings and a seven-day Hidden Network sign-in cookie. The game identifier and queued dialogue events are sent to our server when you use conversations; voice preferences stay local. Other settings, such as language and an unsent draft, stay local.

Mine conversations and Hidden Network

When you start a dwarf conversation or the Enderman test, we store its start and activity times, the displayed questions and replies, your selected answers, progress, result, interruptions and any awarded ticket. We also store an anonymous game identifier, page language, browser language, window size, touch support and reduced-motion setting. This lets us operate the game, recover progress, verify tickets and improve the authored conversations. This journal does not collect passwords, wallet secrets, precise location, data from other sites or a fingerprint. The same identifier can link your conversations in this browser. It is not your name or email address.

The Enderman uses five authored questions to suggest a fictional collaboration role. This is a game result, not an automated employment decision. We issue a GUID only after a passed test and your explicit final confirmation. The GUID can later connect your email with that attempt if you choose to send it. The mail link opens a draft; it sends nothing automatically. Incomplete attempts are retained too, including attempts without a ticket. Records stay in our database until the feature is retired or you request erasure; quote your game identifier or ticket when contacting us. You can find the game identifier under the browser storage key ww-dialogue-player-v2.

Pre-sale notification

If you leave your email address in the form on the home page, we store it in our database (Cloudflare) together with the date and the language of the page — to write to you about the book “Tell Me “Yes”” and the White Whisper method and — if you are among the first 100 people — to send you the e-book free. We write rarely and pass the address to no one. Basis: your consent, given by leaving the address. So that we can show later what exactly you agreed to, we store alongside it the wording of the consent you were shown, its version, the time, your IP address and your browser — that record is evidence of the consent and nothing else. We delete the address after the pre-sale, or earlier if you ask: write to the address above.

Writing to the author

Mail to the site's address is forwarded to the author's mailbox at Google. Correspondence, especially extensive material such as material for a book, may be analysed with the help of cloud AI models from OpenAI, Anthropic and Google (Gemini).

Public traffic numbers

A page on this site — /traffic — shows how many hits the site had in the last five minutes, hour and day, how many distinct connections, how many robot hits, a chart of the last 48 hours, and the top countries and referring sites. Those are aggregate numbers only: no address, no browser, no single visit, nothing about any particular person. We publish them because a book about being honest with numbers should show its own.

Who processes data for us

Cloudflare — hosting, database, mail forwarding. Google — the author's mailbox. OpenAI, Anthropic and Google (Gemini) — AI support for correspondence.

What we do not do

No advertising, no outside analytics, no tracking beyond this site, no selling of data.

Your rights

Access, correction, erasure, restriction, objection — write to the address above. You may also complain to the data protection authority (in Poland: UODO).
