White Whisper 1 — the first version of the method

Books made from real records: conversations, notes, documents.

White Whisper is a way of making a book out of what really happened: chat logs, notes, documents, recordings. The author decides what goes into the book.

The rule: a fact goes into the canon before it goes into the text — taken from the records or from the author's own words, quoted with a date.

How it works→

The method in fourteen parts, with diagrams. Written while the first book was being made.

The work is done by a team of AI roles — two writers (Claude and GPT), a lead editor, a critic, an integrity checker, an assistant who keeps the canon of facts, an English editor — usually each in a separate session and in one role. When the author is away, the team makes default decisions — each one is written down, and the author can undo it with a single word.

Where real people need protecting, names, places and details are changed on purpose, with a record of what was changed. The models also add things of their own; scripts, other roles and the author catch them, and the author approves the correction. Almost every step leaves a trace in the history of changes; where it does not, the series says so.

How a quote is checked

In the book (chapter 3)

01:08 ME: Go on, persuade my wife to go for a walk. She says it's late already, tired, she can't be bothered […] we're a married couple after all, you have to look after this relationship, we're away on a trip, we can go for an evening walk. Write something I'm to say to her, or you, as you, persuade her, I'll simply play it.

Score 1.00: same day and minute, same speaker, and every word of the Polish book line (3 letters or more) is in the source message. The book adds punctuation and marks the cut with […]. The English line is a translation; the score is computed on the Polish original.
